Based and originated in woking, the idea of Poster Photos first started in 2020, a few months before the first lockdown in the UK. The first idea and plan for Poster Photos was a place that people looking for photographers would go to, to find one, since nearly all photographers work independently. So this would be a trusted source of photographers.
The idea grew over lockdown and in september 2021, Poster Photos was created and the domain name was bought. Since then it has just been a side project that would just include other photographer friends of ours that feel comfortable sharing their work on here and be an extra source of clients. This eventually grew bigger and in janurary 2022 it was made official that other people across the country would be hired and we work together. Essentially franchising this part of the industry while still being respectable of independent work.
Within 2 years, the company has gone from an idea to a reality and as a team, we wish that it doesn't crash and burn.
